Whitelist Application

OOC-

IGN: Vuskar
Age: 16
Time zone: GMT +01
Why did this server catch your eye, and why do you want to join it? (2 Sentences): I've been looking around for a decent Minecraft server to spend some time on, and this one looks promising. A balanced survival system along with interesting classes aren't bad either. Wink

IC-

Name: Vuskar
Surname: Darkleaf
Age: 27
Physical Appearance: Vuskar is moderately tall, with a rough beard and medium lengthed hair and bright blue eyes.
Apparel: Wearing dirty leather clothing that covers much of his skin, Vuskar is never seen without his bow. His weapon of choice, it is kept in perfect condition. Other than almost identical pieces of clothing, Vuskar wears nothing else.
Personality: Vuskar is outgoing, yet cautious to those who treat others unwisely. He is never hesitant to make friends and aid them in any task, but he will not falter in shooting one of his so called friends if they betray him.
Your characters goals and ambitions (Detailed): Vuskar aspires to be the best archer in his tribe, and perhaps the jungle. There is never a day when he is not shooting targets at every distance, honing his skills even farther. Other than his bow, Vuskar also tries to be as silent as possible while doing all this, blending in with the dark jungle surrounding him.
The following section involves “Open-answer” as to how you character would react in the following situations:

1. You are approached by a poorly dressed drunk who wishes to join your pristine tribe. When denied, he pulls out a sword, yelling out crazily. What do you do?

Vuskar approaches the man slowly, assesing his strengths and weakness. If violence can be easily avoided, then so be it. If not... Vuskar discretely pulls out his trusty stone sword and asks the man to leave or be made a prisoner. Vuskar continues to talk in a soothing voice, calming down the man and leading him to a path that runs on directly to another tribe. "Let him bother somebody else for awhile", grumbles Vuskar.

2. A spirit emerges when you are exploring ruins. It asks that you bring it a sacrifice so that it may grant you wealth and power. What do you do, and if you were to sacrifice someone in Iriliath, who would it be?

Vuskar jumps in surpirse when a hazy spirit suddenly appears before him. It seemed to be offering grand wealth and power in return for a sacrifice. Vuskar shakes his head, slightly amused, and slightly worried that some others have perhaps seen this corrupted spirit. Ignoring it, Vuskar presses on toward the ruins in search of hard-earned treasure.

3. A new tribesman joins your tribe, but they seem out of place amongst your people. Would you deal with them somehow?

Vuskar sits quietly on the broken log, examining a large notch on his sword, when he looks up and notices Rafael, the new tribe member. Vuskar frowns; this Rafael hasn't seemed normal in the tribe...more out of place, and uncomfortable. Vuskar groans to himself, leaning his sword against the log to come back to later, and walks over to Rafael, trying to act casual. Rafael himself hadn't seemed to notice, to intent on looking at...the lamp? Vuskar taps him on the shoulder and introduces himself, offering to give him a tour of the nearby jungle and the village itself, making sure to go into extra detail on how everything worked. Rafael nods excitedly, and the two jog off into the wilderness.

4. Your tribe’s leader has become weak and corrupt over the years, putting his own selfish desires over the wellbeing of the tribe. As a loyal tribe member, what do you do?

Vuskar's brow narrow at the sight of his tribal leader. Once a beacon of hope and a pillar against despair, this man had become what Vuskar had always tried not to be - greedy, self-centered, and only concerned of his own welfare. Vuskar pulls out his bow and in one quick movement, shoots an arrow in the ground right in front of the man's foot. Trying to remain calm, and not succumb to his insticts which were screaming at him to apologize to the man who ran the whole tribe, Vuskar walks up and retrieves his arrow. The leader's face snarls in anger and he reaches out to strike Vuskar before one of his very own persona guard intervenes. Vuskar's act of rebellion have set of the rest of the village, and, as though rehearsed, force the formal leader out into the wilderness, tossing essential goods before ignoring his very existence as a person. Despite his incoherent yells, the people's resolve is in abundance, and they make no move toward him until his finally gives up and leaves. Vuskar lets out a huge sigh of relief, and realizes that that was far easier than he expected it to be. Shrugging to himself, he focuses on the notch on his blade once more.
